Finding Grace #453

You may have seen the acronym GRACE as God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Grace is also God’s unmerited favor, or God doing for us what we cannot.

I find grace overflowing with God’s love, joy, peace, blessings, mercy, power, provision, protection, and wisdom. Thank You, Jesus!

Where did I find God’s love and favor—His abundant grace—this week?!

This week had a lot of excitement!

We had the typical weekly things like Zoom, work, school, etc. But the Election was on Tuesday, as well. Whether or not you are pleased with the outcome, elections are part of our American way. Lydia and I talked about democracy, the pros and cons of each candidate, and so on. It was interesting to see how what she’s learning in school correlates to this week! Let’s keep praying for the leaders of our country, and remember our Victory is in Jesus.

I am enjoying my standing desk at work! I stood up most of each day, and sat down to take an occasional break or talk with patients. I am so grateful!

Lydia had an orchestra concert this week, and my mother-in-law came up to watch it and visit for the long weekend. It was a fun event, and I am glad Lydia loves it so much.

On Friday, I took the day off work to spend time with my mother-in-law while Lydia was at school. We went out to lunch and did some shopping! It was a beautiful day!

Today, we all hung out together and did a little shopping. Tonight, we are watching a Christmas movie. We always enjoy having company visit!

These are only a few examples, but God’s grace never runs out!

There’s grace in every situation—we just need to look for it. God promises if we seek Him, we will find Him (see Jeremiah 29:13)!
